CHYT YTTS1-PV DC Surge Protective Device is designed to protect photovoltaic solar systems and associated electrical equipment against transient overvoltages caused by lightning-induced surges and switching events. The device incorporates high-energy metal oxide varistors (MOVs), thermal disconnection and a visual status indicator. It provides a nominal discharge current of 20kA and a maximum discharge current of 40kA, with a response time of ≤25ns. Available in 2-pole and 3-pole configurations, with maximum continuous operating voltage options from 600V DC to 1500V DC depending on the selected variant. The unit features replaceable plug-in modules, IP20 protection, 35mm DIN rail mounting and an operating temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. Manufactured in accordance with IEC 61643-31, it is suitable for installation in solar PV distribution and inverter protection systems.
